NFTY-MI Winter Kallah

Calling all 9-12th grade Jewish teens in Michigan! Join us for an amazing weekend at Temple Beth Emeth as we enjoy the winter weather, explore Ann Arbor, celebrate Shabbat with the congregation, and enjoy home hospitality. Don’t worry even though we have all this fun planned, there will be plenty of time for hanging out and catching up with old friends and making new ones.

The event starts at 5:00 PM on Friday, February 5 and runs through 10:30 AM Sunday, February 7. Registration is only open for a limited time, so don’t miss out!

We recognize that some teens may be registered to take the ACT test the weekend of this event. The congregation has graciously agreed to transport the teens from the congregation to the local high school and back in order to allow them to take the test that weekend if needed. Please email if you would like to make these arrangements.

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12 who is interested in a Reform Jewish experience.

  • Meals are included in the cost of the event.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

Contact your local congregation for information about transportation to the event. Please note that an additional fee may be charged by your congregation for transportation to and from the event.

Participants and their families will receive a confirmation email prior to the event with additional information.

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through January 14, 2016 – 90% of the registration fees paidThrough January 21, 2016 – 75% of the registration fees paidThrough January 28, 2016 – 50% of the registration fees paidAfter January 28, 2016 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after January 28, 2016 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
